Jambojet airline will start flying twice weekly to Goma in DRC from September 2021.
In a poster on Wednesday, the airline said Goma is calling.
“Fly directly from Nairobi for USD 397 return starting 10th September. Book now on our website,” it said.
This is set to grow to four frequencies weekly, flying on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The Regional low-cost carrier will also start flying to the Coastal Island of Lamu as part of its expansion program.
Passengers to Goma must have a medical certificate with a negative coronavirus (covid-19) PCR test result.
The test must been taken at most seven days before arrival. The test must be issued in English or French.
Also, Passengers must complete a “travelers registration form” before arrival at https://inrbcovid.com/index.php/user/home_en.
This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.
Passengers are subject to coronavirus (covid-19) test on arrival at their own expense @ USD45
In Lamu, the airline will fly four times weekly, starting 15th September 2021.
Customers will be able to book Nairobi to Lamu and Mombasa to Lamu as well as Lamu to Mombasa and Lamu to Nairobi.
Mombasa to Lamu will cost a person Sh4600 one way. Nairobi to Lamu Sh7100 one way.
