Air Arabia starts flights to Entebbe

Sharjah, UAE: Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) operator, has inaugurated its direct flight between Entebbe in Uganda and Sharjah.

The five hour twenty minutes flight landed at Entebbe International Airport on Sunday, October 10 at 13:35pm, and was welcomed with the traditional water cannon salute and cake cutting amongst others.

Air Arabia flight G9 721 will depart from Sharjah International Airport at 09:00am and arrive at 13:35pm every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The return flight from Entebbe International Airport will depart at 14:15pm and arrive Sharjah International Airport at 21:00pm. Customers can now book their direct flights between Sharjah and Entebbe by visiting Air Arabia’s website, by calling the call centre or through travel agencies.

Air Arabia has also introduced a free Covid-19 insurance coverage to add more convenience to flyers. The insurance is automatically included as part of the booking and no additional documents are required from passengers.

Air Arabia’s Entebbe launch comes days after Uganda’s national Airline Uganda Airlines started flights direct to Dubai on 4th October increasing the number of airlines operating the route.
