American Airlines flight hits lamp post

American Airlines flight AA1005 from Dallas Fort Worth to Nassau has suffered significant wing damage after the plane was taxied into one of the airport’s apron lampposts while taxing out of departure.

An investigation has been launched to identify what caused the accident. The plane has been damaged seriously luckily no injuries among the crew and passengers were reported

After the incident, the Boeing 737-800 was towed back at the gate. The passengers were placed onto another aircraft, according to an American local media outlet.

It is still early for any initial theories as to what caused the incident.
