Domestic passengers in Kenya now required to complete locator form online

All domestic passengers in Kenya are now required to complete an online passenger locator form before traveling.

The locator form is to allow easy contact tracing of passengers in case of Covid-19 infection inside the airlines.

According to a notice from the Kenya Airways website, providing the information to a Port Health Officer is Required under the Public Health Act CAP 242 of the laws of Kenya, and is being collected as part of public health response to the Corona Virus pandemic.

One form should be filled by an adult member of each family.

In the form, you need to fill in your name, seat number , date of Arrival in Kenya, flight number Your date of birth, passport number or ID , email address, home address, phone number, residence.

If you are a visitor, write only the first place where you will be staying. This is in the temporary address section.

This was even as Kenya on Sunday recorded 800 new Covid-19 cases, from a sample size of 6,530 tested.

The new cases bring the total caseload in the country to 211,828 and the cumulative tests so far conducted are 2,190,806.

From the cases, 777 are Kenyans while 23 are foreigners, with 414 being males and 386 being females.

In terms of recoveries, 278 patients have recovered from the disease with 129 from the home based isolation and care program while 149 are from various health facilities countrywide.

This now bring the total number of recoveries to 197,307.
