Kuwait Airways will resume flights from Tbilisi International Airport. According to Media reports, Kuwait Airways is going to relaunch regular flights between Tbilisi and Kuwait from June 4. Regular flights will be operated every Monday and Friday throughout the summer season.
Recently a number of airlines have decided to enter the Georgian market and add flights to/from Georgia. Kazakh low-cost carriers FlyArystan and Air fly every week to Tbilisi. On April 30, the first flight of the Ukrainian low-cost carrier Bees Airline landed in Tbilisi International Airport from Kyiv. Up until June, 13 Bees Airline will operate Kyiv-Tbilisi-Kyiv flights twice per week; from June 13 to October 5 it will be reduced to 1 flight per week; and from October 5 to October 29, regular flights will be operated three times a week.
In addition, German low-cost carrier Eurowings (part of Lufthansa Group) has also expressed its interest to enter the Georgian market and according to the Georgian Ministry of Economy, the agreement has already been reached. Starting from July 21, Eurowings will operate Dusseldorf-Tbilisi-Dusseldorf flights twice per week. Kuwait Airways started operation at Tbilisi International Airport in 2018
