United Airlines expands flight operations to Lagos

United States United Airlines will now commence flight between Lagos, Nigeria and Washington Dulles from November 29, 2021, as part of a new expansion efforts.

The approval for the new route was received recently from the Nigerian government.

To carry out the flights, United Airlines intends to use it’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which can carry 243 passengers, which includes 28 Polaris businesses class, 21 Premium Plus cabin, 36 in Economy Plus, and 158 in economy class cabin.

The flight schedule is outlined thus; United Airlines Flight 612 will depart Washington Dulles to Lagos at 6:30 P.M. and arrive at 10:40 A.M.

For the return leg from Lagos to Washington Dulles, United Airlines will depart MMA at 11:50 P.M. and arrive at 6 A.M, for a total flight time of 12 hours and 10 minutes.

United Airlines intends to fly on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while the return leg will be on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving the next day.
